The Aviary 8 is a walk-in Chicken Coop for up to 8 lucky hens, with complete security and plenty of wing-room - an all-in-one fox-proof house and run.
Access is from one side for house cleaning, and to enter the run, with the external nest box on one end - a big plus when your access around the Aviary is limited.

The Aviary 8 has a large door to the walk-in run, double doors to the house section as well as a mesh entry door under the house. This means that the Aviary 8 Coop is perfect for placing in the corner of your garden or up against hedges, fences and walls.
For the roof of the house, we use our 9mm thick, never-leak, recycled black polypropylene. Result: a dry, warm, very secure chicken coop and ... leak-proof!
The floor is made of a smooth resin-coated board, 12mm thick, and is fully removable which means total surface cleaning is incredibly easy.
The tall spacious run gives the hens plenty of room to roam and even has the unique characteristics of an outside veranda of day perches, perfect for enjoying that afternoon nap.
For even more roaming room we offer a 3ft extension section to increase the run area. Extra features can be added to make protection from the elements and wild birds more complete, which is sometimes necessary with our more delicate girls.
A Polycarbonate Roof (6mm twin-wall) can be added to the top of the run, providing shelter without reducing light. It will make the run area biosecure and protect most of the surface of the run from the worst of the rain.
To add an Automatic Door Opener to the Aviary, just view Automatic Door Openers and if ordered at the same time as the house then we will fit it for you.

The Flyte Aviary will be delivered flat-packed in panels, on a pallet, for self-assembly. Full instructions and all screws are included, no carpentry required.

Very happy with the aviary 8 a good solid run and coop well with every penny
I am delighted with my Aviary8 coop which I erected last week. The help received from Flyte So Fancy regarding a couple of snags we hit along the way was second to none. The only reason I did not give a 5 star review was because one of the panels was sent out incorrectly and a piece was missing from the inside of the coop. All are being resolved but it does mean extra work for me.
Unfortunately, the fox got three of my hens the night before my new coop went up, but the one remaining, as traumatised as she is, has settled in well and is now using the nest box. She likes sitting on the perches watching everything going on in the garden. If the unit was a little deeper, it would have been nice but as my hens do have access to the outside to roam, it’s not an issue. If roaming was not available, I would have gone for the Grand to give them more space to run around.
Regardless of these issues, I would highly recommend Flyte So Fancy and the Chickenguard automatic door closer.

I would definitely recommend this company. Easy to deal with on line, and quick to come back with a reasonably short, but more importantly reliable delivery date. The chicken coop arrived well packaged. Thanks to superb instructions which included clear photos we have successfully assembly the coop and run with minimal stress. Great service, very friendly and helpful staff. Chicken house and run is very well made and sturdy. Instructions were clear and easy to follow with colour step by step guides. The coop is very well thought out. Delivery was very fast which means overall I am very happy with Flyte So Fancy, the girls certainly love their new home!
I did build a high level dust bath and added that to the coop which is a perfect addition. As you can see from the picture we are only half way through the garden renovations but this is a great start.
