The Anti-Fox No-Dig Skirt - Large size is suitable for Pens with a total perimeter between 14.7m and 20m - see Dimensions tab (if the perimeter is longer than 20m please call or email for a quote).

Although it would be rare that a fox would dig under the run without giving up or being disturbed unless there are easy gaps where the run meets the ground; there are occasions when you may be away for the weekend, or on holiday and friends are in charge.

This is an inexpensive way to give you the reassurance that the hens will be safe. The fox will instinctively want to dig right next to the base of the run and would be unlikely to attempt to dig from ten inches away.

Four 10-inch (25.5cm) wide strips of 2in x 2in (5cm) strong 16 gauge galvanised weldmesh are ready to lay on the ground under the edges of your run. It is held in place with 25cm galvanised pegs (approx 30 supplied). More Galvanised Pegs are available.

The Large size No-Dig Skirt is suitable for Flyte so Fancy Protection Pen sizes 9ft x 18ft, 9ft x 21ft and 9ft x 24ft as well as larger units like the Flyte Aviary Grand and the Arched Coops and Houses.

For your own custom Chicken Run, this size will suit runs with a total perimeter measurement between 49ft to 66ft (14.7m to 20m). For example - a rectangular run measuring 5m x 2.5m has perimeter of 15m (49ft 2in).

Just give us the dimensions of your run, length x width, in the text box and we will cut 4 strips to suit that size.

Simply place the 10 inch wide strips of weldmesh on the ground where your run will sit and peg it in place. The mesh should be positioned so that the edge of the mesh is held just under the base of the run and then pegged down to hold it securely.
