This Hanging Net, like a hay net, is a small robust net perfect for feeding Alfa-Grit Blocks and the Alfa Hanging Blocks to your flock. Made of a thick purple polypropylene cord with a long black hanging cord. The height can be adjusted to suit your birds.
Just fill the net with an Alfa-Grit Block or, the Alfalfa Block or, put some green veggie treats like cabbage in it, then hang it in their run area to keep them entertained and prevent boredom.

Make a shaggy kale ball - stuff plenty of whole stem (not the chopped type) kale down the sides of the alfalfa block. The net holds the kale really tight against the block. The hens spend ages pecking and jumping to strip the juicy calcium-rich kale (and a bit of alfalfa after the kale’s finished). They will strip every last little bit of kale off the stalks. Works with short stalks too. I’m really pleased with this solution for kale as I’ve struggled with bits of wire tied round the stalks for ages. Great boredom buster.

perfect size and well made
I use this to hang the Silvermoor Alfa-Grit Block in the coop. The block fits in the net perfectly and the hens are enjoying pecking at it. The net keeps the treat block off the floor and allows several hens to gather around and peck happily.
