6ft Run for Handy 4 Hen House

A 6ft long enclosed wired run to fit to the side of your Handy 4 Hen House. The Run size is approx 2ft 3in high x 2ft 7in wide and 6ft long. 

It has a pop-hole at the end of the run, for the hens to 'pop' in and out if you wish, or for you to access a feeder. Access near the house is from a top access panel of the run.

It secures against the pop-hole side of the house with a hook and chain and has a bracing bar to ensure the birds cannot escape under the house itself. 

A 6ft Run will provide enough space for 3 - 4 bantam hens if using the run to enclose them permanently. However, we would advise that for more, or larger, birds it should be used only for relatively temporary periods e.g. whilst at work to keep them safe, or to home them when they are new.

This is not only for the welfare of the birds but also because the ground would become muddy very quickly.

This run is a solid and secure fox-proof run made of 18 gauge half-inch by one-inch green plastic-coated galvanised (Italian-made) weldmesh onto a 38 x 38mm pressure-treated timber framework. To prevent a fox or badger digging under the run, perhaps consider a No Dig Skirt for the outside of the run

Delivery: This run is delivered flatpacked, via courier when ordered separately. If ordered with the hen house then it will arrive in panels together with the house on the pallet.
